I Tarkov Poorly

Om3ga and I ran some raids together today.  They were a lot of fun, it's a nice change to go into a raid with someone (especially someone as good as Om3ga ). It's much less tense than a solo raid. Om3ga had just come off of a solo raid when we started where he had killed 5 PMCs - a duo and a trio.  I can barely fathom such a thing.  Minus some recent setbacks, after making level 10, my financial situation has improved. Now my balance floats around 2 million rubles. I can't exactly afford to kit out (and then lose) Level 6 armor while packing 300K worth of ammunition, but I can comfortably buy a nice VPO-209 and maybe some level 4 armor without stressing too much.  Today, since I knew I'd be raiding with him, I logged on early and went armor shopping. I was able to snap up a fully new Level 5 Ghzel armored vest for 80K.  "I'll bring you a weapon - don't worry about it. NOTE - For any reader wondering how I did in the Punisher tournament, I'm sorry to report that I wasn't invited. I'm sure it was just an oversight. I can't believe I died of dehydration and exhaustion last raid, I only need 300 XP to make Level 14, only one tanker truck (and survive raid) to finish BP Depot raid. Only kill two more scavs to finish Therapist quest.   So close. My insurance from the last two raids came in. My M2 rig, VSS, and NVGs are gone. Damn. Thankfully the VPO-209 came back. I have the BP Depot quest. Just put four markers on four tanker trucks on Customs. Seems easy enough. Can I do it in one raid?  Also, I still need to kill 10 more scavs on Customs for Therapist. Maybe I can get that done too. And, I'm going to continue the night raid theme.   Goals: mark four tanker trucks on customs kill 10 scavs survive (optional?) if opportunity arises, hit Crackhouse and Tarcone Director's office looking for intel. I got an insurance return from Prapor today. It contained good news and bad.  The good news was that Wilbur, my trusty VPO-209 came back again on insurance. I must be really lucky, that weapon always comes back.   But the bad news is that my Trooper Class 4 armor and my Armasight N-15 NVGs did not.   I figure to finish this "Kill 15 Scavs on Customs" quest for Therapist that'll I'll be doing a few more raids on Customs. So maybe I should try delivering the package on Factory. That way when it goes south ("when" not "if") I can make another swing by the director's office on Customs.  Also, since I've been doing that "night raid" thing, let's make it a night raid.  This might be a bad idea, because I suspect the only people crawling Factory at night are the folk with the Insomnia quest, and they are out to kill PMCs.  Plus I don't have much time to play today, so Factory is a good fit.  I put together a quick Vityaz PP-19 k...

I want to continue running some night raids. Might as well get the value from the Night Vision Gear (NVG) I purchased.   Destination: Customs Goals:  pick up the doc case from the Tarcone Director's Office Kill Scavs (need 15 kills for Therapist quest) Find Intel (need this for intelligence center in the hideout, which I will likely need to step up to a beta secure container, instead of my little alpha) Find white armor Survive Plan: There are supposedly new spawns on Customs, so that may temper any plans. Most of my quests are just "find shit". I still need Emelya-brand croutons (not Borodinskiy-brand) for the Jaeger, white armor for Skier (how have I not found that yet?), and countless small things for everyone else. I only have three quests that aren't just loot-and-get-lucky:  locate signal source on Shoreline (Mechanic) kill 15 scavs on Customs (Therapist) delivery from the past - (re)obtain package on Customs (Prapor) The last two quests both take place on Customs and I can pursue them in tandem. I went and bought the director's office key from the flea market. So I'm ready for that.  But, truth be told, I like Shoreline better and that sounds more fun. Further, I saw a couple of streamers say that night raids are easier for finishing quests, because fewer players. Night raid? I've never done one - sounds exciting and scary and new.  Fewer players? Haven't played much in the last few weeks, just a few scav runs and offline plays ( see: CALvPT ).  But chatted with Om3ga and he inspired me to keep at it - he's level 38 now and I'm still 13. Maybe I can catch up, no?  Also, I heard that there is going to be an update later tonight, I'm not sure if it's this same update, but an expansion to Factory is rumored along with a new boss. So maybe best to get the Delivery from the Past quest done before that gets complicated.  Destination: Factory Goal:  Delivery package to that little room above Gate 3 exit.
